Maltodextrin (Organic)

Maltodextrin is derived from corn. It is considered a complex carbohydrate, starch and a glucose polymer. It has a very high glycemic index rating (this is a rating which determines how your blood sugar and hence insulin responds after ingesting carbohydrates). This means maltodextrin gives you a quick energy boost for strength; in fact, it is one of the quickest energy boosters known.

However, maltodextrin is not great for endurance. You need a very low glycemic index rating ingredient like Agave Cactus Juice, to give you long term energy and keep you going all day.
